The training for Bio Risk Management Committees aims to equip members with the knowledge and skills needed to effectively monitor biohazard risks within their organization. Recently, Ristya Amalia from EHI participated in a training session organized by the Pusat Studi Satwa Primata (PSSP) at the Science and Technology Park building in Institut Pertanian Bogor. Participants represented various departments including research, safety, and administration, engaging in comprehensive sessions covering biohazard identification, risk assessment methodologies, implementation of safety protocols, and emergency response planning.
Interactive workshops and case studies provided practical insights into managing biohazard risks across different operational scenarios. The training underscored the importance of collaboration among committee members to develop and uphold a robust biosafety strategy, ensure compliance with regulatory standards, and cultivate a safety-oriented culture throughout the organization.
