On November 10, 2025, representatives from EHI attended the Habibie Prize 2025 Ceremony at the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN) Building in Central Jakarta. The event celebrated Indonesia’s top researchers and innovators, continuing the legacy of Prof. Dr. Ing. B.J. Habibie, who founded the award in 1999 to honor exceptional contributions in science and technology. EHI’s presence at this year’s ceremony was especially meaningful, as a long-time collaborator and mentor at EHI, R. Tedjo Sasmono, S.Si., PGDipSci., Ph.D. from BRIN, received the Habibie Prize 2025 in Medical Science and Biotechnology. Dr. Sasmono was recognized for his pioneering work in molecular research on the dengue virus, which has played a vital role in advancing public health and infectious disease research in Indonesia. His achievement stands as both a personal milestone and an inspiration to the wider scientific community.
Through its participation, EHI reaffirmed its commitment to supporting research excellence and innovation in Indonesia.
