Protein production is one of the most crucial steps in scientific research, especially in the study of infectious pathogens for vaccine and drug discovery. However, purifying proteins to remove contaminants is often a complex and challenging process. To address these challenges, Cytiva ASEAN held a seminar aimed at helping researchers identify common purification problems and explore potential solutions, along with introducing technologies designed to improve the accuracy and success of protein-based studies.
Researchers from EHI, Bunga Rana and Megan Salim, attended the seminar to learn about different protein purification techniques and tools that can support ongoing protein research at EHI. The seminar featured presentations and discussions offering tips and strategies for optimizing protein production and purification, while also showcasing Cytiva’s latest laboratory technologies. The insights gained and technologies explored are expected to enhance the efficiency and reliability of protein studies at EHI. This reflects EHI’s ongoing commitment to advancing health research through innovation and collaboration.
