Dengue threat in public health has been emphasized through its selection as one of ten global threats by the World Health Organization in 2019. Unfortunately, this sentiment is also mirrored in Indonesia, where the number of dengue cases in the first quarter of 2024 has increased threefold since 2023. This alarming growth rate of dengue in Indonesia required immediate active control strategies, such as the utilization of surveillance, which would aid in lessening the fatality of dengue\u2019s possible outbreak through early detection of infection.<\/p>\n

\"EHI<\/p>\n

In the enthusiasm of refining dengue surveillance in Indonesia, EHI discussed future collaboration with RSUD Ade Muhammad Djoen in Sintang, West Kalimantan, where a surveillance study was yet established. Through this collaboration, EHI aims to gain more insight into dengue transmission in Indonesia, thus contributing to establishing zero dengue deaths in Indonesia. EHI believes that through this initiative, meaningful partnerships and data-driven strategies can enhance dengue control efforts across the country.<\/p>\n
