Early-career researchers in Southeast Asia often face significant challenges in advancing their careers, including limited funding, access to resources, and career development opportunities. Recognizing these barriers, a specialized training program titled \u201cThe Southeast Asia Researcher Career Development Workshop\u201d was organized to bring together researchers from various ASEAN countries, including Indonesia, Vietnam, the Philippines, Malaysia, Laos, and Thailand. This initiative aimed to provide a platform for networking, skill enhancement, and collaborative opportunities to support young researchers in overcoming these obstacles<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

One of EHI\u2019s Senior Researchers, Agatha Mia Puspitasari, joined fellow researchers in engaging sessions designed to develop active participation and knowledge exchange. The training focused on essential skills in career growth, such as building professional networks, identifying research collaboration opportunities, writing effective grant proposals, and pitching research projects to potential funders. By equipping participants with these competencies, the program played a vital role in empowering the next generation of scientists in the region.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
