The event brought together researchers, local government representatives, healthcare institutions, and public health stakeholders to discuss ongoing research on vector-borne diseases, including dengue and zoonotic malaria. On the following day, researchers from BRIN and EHI visited Salatiga Regional Hospital to discuss plans for an e-Asia Joint Call research project on encephalitis-causing viruses. The hospital leadership welcomed the initiative and expressed support for future research activities.
