In the effort to build our vaccine capacity, two EHI scientists, named Mercy E. Adiniko and Bunga Rana, were proudly chosen by the International Vaccine Institute (IVI) to participate in the 2024 Introductory Course for Standard Practice (GxP) organized by the Global Training Hub for Biomanufacturing (GTH-B) in Seoul, Republic of Korea, from October 28 to November 15, 2024.
GTH-B is a hub established and mandated by the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Ministry of Health and Welfare (MoHW) of the Republic of Korea to assist in building the biomanufacturing capacity in Low- and Middle-Income Countries (LMICs), and the 2024 Introductory Course for Standard Practice (GxP) course is particularly created to equip participants representing the biomanufacturing workforce from LMICs with the essential skills required to operate according to current good practices.

Their participation in this course highlighted EHI’s commitment and dedication to increasing our vaccine capacity by acquiring multiple vaccine makers’ perspectives, which could bridge the development between the laboratory and biomanufacturer settings.
