From 15–17 June 2026, EHI’s Dengue Team participated in the 9th Asia Dengue Summit (ADS) held at Orchard Hotel, Singapore. The annual ADS conference brought together approximately 600 participants from dengue research, public health, industry, and policymaking across Asia and beyond to exchange knowledge and share current advancements in dengue prevention and control. Moreover, EHI researchers Marsha S. Santoso, Dionisius Denis, and Bunga Rana also actively contributed to the event by presenting their latest dengue research findings through poster presentations.

Annually, the ADS summit featured discussions on the latest advances in dengue science, including immune responses to dengue infection, vaccine development, Wolbachia-based vector control programs, and emerging approaches for dengue prevention and treatment. Participation in the summit enabled EHI researchers to stay up to date on the latest scientific developments, engage with leading experts and institutions, and strengthen regional collaboration networks. EHI believes that continued scientific exchange and multi-sector collaboration are essential for reducing the burden of dengue and advancing efforts to eliminate dengue-related deaths across Asia.
