On 4 March 2026, EHI welcomed Prof. Jim-Tong Horng and Associate Professor Scott Schuyler, representing Chang Gung University, Taiwan, for a strategic visit aimed at exploring potential research collaborations. The meeting served as a platform to exchange intercountry insights and identify shared priorities in addressing viral diseases of global and regional concern.
Discussions focused on opportunities for prospective collaboration in viral surveillance and dengue antiviral testing, areas that are increasingly critical in strengthening preparedness and response to emerging infectious diseases. Both institutions shared their respective expertise and ongoing initiatives, highlighting the potential for synergistic efforts in advancing scientific research and innovation. This visit reflects EHI’s continued commitment to building international partnerships that support impactful research and public health outcomes. By fostering collaboration with leading academic institutions such as Chang Gung University, EHI aims to contribute to the development of effective strategies in combating viral diseases and improving global health resilience.
