NCAGE codes are used in the NATO Codification System (NCS), a system developed by NATO to act as a standardized identifier, which is recognized internationally among NATO member countries, that allows involvement in international commerce and networking. The code is primarily needed for government funding along with simplifying identification, verification, and coordination processes in international collaborations and procurement activities with compliance with NATO standards. Many funding agencies require the code as a means of validation, which allows them to confirm the identity and legitimacy of the organizations applying for government funding, thus promoting transparency and accountability. Government agencies require this code during coordination of various activities related to public health, research, and global health security.
As EHI aims to become Indonesia’s lead research laboratory and promote Indonesia as a country that is capable of facilitating advanced research, the NCAGE code is an essential requirement for EHI to prosper globally and be involved with internationally collaborative projects. We hope that through this accreditation, EHI can logistically improve in the national and international networks and spread EHI’s achievement worldwide.
